The Euroclima Program, through GIZ, has developed this document with the aim of presenting an initial mapping of private sector entities offering climate financing in Latin America and the Caribbean. This preliminary analysis provides a clearer view of the landscape of climate investment opportunities and potential partners in the region. The information gathered is based on the main findings of a study commissioned by Euroclima, together with the NDC Partnership Initiative, through GIZ to SURECO & Partners.

It is worth noting that this report represents an initial effort to map entities providing private climate financing. It defines their typology, the investment sectors they operate in, and the financial instruments they use to mobilize their investments.

This publication was based on the study conducted by Sureco & Partners and is financially supported by the European Union through the Euroclima program, implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
