The document highlights the challenges and potential of digital technologies like blockchain and smart contracts in enhancing certification transparency and efficiency. The report analyzes primary certification schemes, such as CertifHy™ Scheme, TÜV Rheinland Standard H2.21, and ISCC PLUS with GHG Emissions Add-On, and compares their applicability, GHG emission savings criteria, technological requirements, and monitoring systems.
