The event was held from July 19 to 22, 2023 in Brasilia. It brought together Amazonian indigenous leaders and government representatives from ACTO member countries to formulate recommendations for the constitution of the Platform and to address articulation strategies that  contributes towards the creation of an Indigenous Peoples’ Regional Strategy to improve their participation in climate actions.

This document introduces the main ideas presented in the thematic sessions, the reflections gathered in the working groups and plenary discussions, as well as the experiences that ACTO member countries have been implementing to include Indigenous Peoples knowledge and practices in public policy.
